しぼりたて純米吟醸 生原酒 - Freshly Brewed Junmaiginjou

Junmaiginjou Nama Genshu is freshly brewed seasonal release from Abekan. Hiyori rice polishing ratio is 55%, unpasteulized and undiluted. Among series of Abekan, this bottle is most intense and tasty, yet smooth texture and crystal-like transparency - a signature of Abekan. Very good for winter - spring seafoods.

Winter is the best season for seafoods. Especially tuna(鮪), yellowtail(寒鰤), flounder edge(寒平目縁側), angler liver(鮟鱇肝), gizzard shad(小鰭), shrimp(海老) are must-try. In the spring, spanish mackerel(鰆), halfbeak(針魚), icefish(白魚), sea bream(鯛), herring(鯡) and shellfishes(貝類) are at their best. Freshly brewed Abekan Junmaiginjou perfectly brings out the full flavour of those seasonal seafoods.



"Which saké is good for sushi?" We would like to offer Abekan for this most frequent question at Vin et Saké Nature.

Abekan was established in 1716 near Shiogama shrine in Miyagi, and they have been appointed as an official supplier of sacred saké for this shrine to this day. Today Abekan Shuzo is lead by Mr.Kankuro Abe, 14th head of the family and Sake making is handled by Toji : Toshiaki Hiratsuka.

This area - Sanriku coast is famous for seafoods, especially the number of sushi restaurants per capita in Shiogama is the highest in Japan. Authentic styled Abekan is caracterized by its purity and smoothness, and it is most loved saké in this sushi town. Abekan Shuzo's sake is mainly distributed and consumed locally, and a small part of production is shipped to the outside of Miyagi.

Their brands are Shikino Matsushima, Otokoyama and Abekan. Especially Abekan is premium brand which is provided to selected saké shops on allocation.
