It has a very refined bouquet with scents of lemon sherbet, lemon thyme and a touch of orange blossom. There is fine precision here. The palate is quite saline on the entry, harmonious and saline in the mouth, a twist of sour lemon right on the aftertaste. This is a very well-crafted Chablis Vaillons. RP91,AM91 A ripe and well-layered nose presents notes of fresh white orchard fruit, sea breeze and algae aromas that display a hint of citrus rind. There is both good vibrancy and detail that works well with the relatively voluminous flavors that are shaped by a moderately firm citrus-tinged acid spine on the beautifully long and complex finale. AM92,RP93 A wonderfully broad-ranging nose is composed by a pungent and classic nose of mineral reduction, floral, pear, apple and iodine scents. As is usually the case this is bigger, richer and more powerful than any of the other wines in the range and possesses copious amounts of dry extract that coats the palate on the dense and strikingly long finale. There is a hint of the exotic to the Mandarin orange-tinged mix of ripe orchard fruit, tidal pool, floral and soft citrus hints. There is good energy to the seductively textured, delicious and solidly voluminous flavors that exude a fine minerality on the lingering finish. AM92,RP91 This is not only more elegant but more complex as well with a much greater emphasis on the typical S├ęchet citrus elements. There is good richness to the round and relatively generous medium weight flavors that possess a seductively textured mouth feel. There is a lovely minerality and underlying tension to the very dry, balanced and persistent finish. AM90-92,RP93 The rich, full-bodied and solidly well-concentrated flavors that are blessed with an abundance of dry extract that confers a textured quality to the seductive and saline-infused finish that displays impeccable balance. There is a really lovely sense of underlying tension to the impressively intense and markedly saline flavors that deliver excellent persistence on the mouth coating, clean and markedly dry finish. This attractive effort should drink well early as there is plenty of extract, though reward extended cellaring as well. AM91 A lovely nose, a little more tropical than I remember it, with touches of guava and pineapple infusing the citrus fruit, subtle marine influences developing with aeration in the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry with a nice touch of bitter lemon, moderate weight in the mouth with a honeyed seam emerging toward the finish. *Wine is exactly same as VINCENT DAUVISSAT label except for longer ageing period. RP93,92,AM92 The palate impression though is one of big-bodied and intensely mineral-driven flavors that exude copious amounts of dry extract that buffers the moderately firm acid spine on the very dry finish. As it usually is, this is stunningly good and should also reward up to a decade of cellar time. AM95,RP94
