The “Grand Vin” from Barbabecchi vineyard at 910m above sea level. Planted around 1910 and North-North East exposed, capturing the first and cool morning sun rays. This pure Nerello Mascalese from ungrafted old vines produces a profound wine, rich as well as elegant at the same time with character and personality: liquorice and oriental spices. Only produced in great vintages when the grapes achieve full phenolic ripeness. CS (Chiusa Spagnolo) - This pure Nerello Mascalese comes from ungrafted vineyard in contrada Zottorinoto, more specific in the section Chiusa Spagnola, situated lower in the valley floor, a bit hidden in an amphytheater, surrounded by lava. A unique vineyard, planted around 1925 at a lower altitude (620m. asl) producing a profound, tannic wine, a bit more backward and Nebbiolo-ish compared to our other crus and lighter in colour. Nerello Mascalese 100% from 80+ years old vines. CR (Campo Re) - This pure Nerello Mascalese comes from a partly ungrafted vineyard Campo Re, situated at the far Western side in the valley floor, at the entrance of Randazzo. The vineyard altitude is 735m asl and is characterized by deep soil. The wines are profound and tannic, and more backward and Nebbiolo-ish compared to other crus. Nerello Mascalese 100% from 70+ years old vines.

FM (Feudo di Mezzo Sottana)  - as a contrada is very vaste and therefore Cornelissen started to separate the bottom part (sottana) from the upper part (soprana or Porcaria) since 2014 vintage. Although lower in the valley floor, the wines are of an unusual elegance which characterizes this area. Burgundian elegance and roundness, even in hot vintages makes this a special wine with finesse as it’s personality. Nerello Mascalese 100% from 40+ years old vines. This pure Nerello Mascalese is produced from our old vine alberello cru Porcaria, situated at 640m above sea level. in the contrada Feudo di Mezzo. A challenging location in order to achieve perfection in maturation. It has the power as well as refined elegance in the balanced vintages when everything falls into place. A complete wine. Nerello Mascalese 100% from 60+ years old vines. Production : 2,000 bottles/year. A rich and fragrant wine of pure Nerello Mascalese from different vineyards, partly from our best parcels(Chiusa Spagnolo, Monte Colla, Porcaria, Barbabecchi) as well as designated vineyards for this specific wine(Rampante, Piano Daini and Crasà). A classic, traditional Nerello Mascalese with tannins and sweetness of ripe fruit. This wine embodies traditional, balanced and rich Northern Valley Etna wine.

Susucaru Rosso(ex Contadino) is a field-blend of mostly Nerello Mascalese (85%) with other local varietals from all the vineyards: Nerello Capuccio, Allicante Boushet, Minella and Uva Francesa. Susucaru Rosso expresses Etna as produced in a more traditional way of blending different contrada’s as well as different varietals to obtain a fragrant, elegant and fluid wine with structure and personality. Earthy, almost funky aromas of forest floor, black olive, scorched earth, wild berry, leather and carob abound on this soulful red. On the enveloping palate, velvety tannins support dried black cherry, raspberry, clove, cured meat and game. Be sure to open this a few hours in advance to let it breathe and fully open up. WE93 Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio and Riesling Italico are fermented separately and aged together. While fermenting in Georgian amphorae buried underground, it underwent a long maceration together with grape skin with wild yeasts and no temperature control. After the drawing off and pressing phases the wine was poured back into amphorae for at least five more months before it started ageing in large oak barrels, where it was left for six years. Wine is bottled without fining or filtration.

Made from Ribolla grapes which have been cultivated in this area for more than a thousand years. While fermenting in Georgian amphorae buried underground, it underwent a long maceration with grape skin(so called skin contact), with wild yeasts and no temperature control. After the drawing off and pressing phases the wine was poured back into amphorae for at least five more months before it started ageing in large oak barrels, where it was left for six years. Wine is bottled without fining or filtration. Sassaia is produced with Garganega (85-95%) and Trebbiano (5-15%) cultivated in the vineyards close to the winery, on Sorio hills, which soil is rich in minerals. The fermentation is spontaneous and it takes place in 30hl oak barrels, without temperature control. It is bottled in April or May of the following year, without clarification and filtration. Part of the bottling process occurs without adding sulphur dioxide. So San is produced with Tocai Rosso grapes (Grenache) in purity, cultivated in the Colli Berici area, where the soil is very different from the others Biancara’s land; in this area there is an argilo-calcareous soil with white and marine origin rocks. After the grape harvest, in mid-September, the grape is pressed and fermented with the skins for about 15 days, then is racked and aged in 15hl barrels for 18 months.

Pico is produced with Garganega grape only, carefully selected in the highest hills of Gambellara, its fermentation starts spontaneously. The aging takes place for 12 months in big barrels (15 hectolitres). It is bottled without filtration and sulphites. Pico is produced with Garganega grape from three parcels - Taibane, Faldeo and Monte di Mezzo, carefully selected in the highest hills of Gambellara. Angiolino Maule produced four PICO separately in 2013 - three PICO crus and PICO blended. Faldeo is located 250m above sea level and size is 1.5ha only. Fermentation starts spontaneously with macerations. The aging takes place for 12 months in big barrels (15 hectolitres). It is bottled without filtration and sulphites. SP68 Rosso, is a blend of two varieties Moscato di Alessandria 60% and Albanello 40%. Fermented by indigenous yeast only, 15 days skin-contact. Elevage for 6 months in concrete vats and bottled without filtration. The title "SP68" refers to the Strada Provinciale 68, a state route that passes by Arianna’s rural property.
