La Lune 2018 is made from 35(ave.) years old vines Chenin Blanc from several parcels. Fermented in barrels and one year ageing in barrels. 2018 has less residual sugar(0.9mg/l) than usual. Amphores version of La Lune 2018 is made from 35(ave.) years old vines Chenin Blanc with extremely low yields(14hl/ha), from several parcels. Fermented and aged for one year in amphores. 2018 has less residual sugar(0.3mg/l) than usual. Albariño from Echizenhama Niigata. Destemmed and maceration. Orange peel, osmanthus fragrans, honey flavours are intermixed. The vineyards are situated on sand dune near the coast, so this terroir gives mineral to the wine. It goes very well with seafoods.

Albariño from Niida vineyard. Fermented in stainless tank with cold temperature to keep fresh acidity and aged in the tank. Fine, dense, fresh & fruity Albariño matches fine Japanese cuisine, sea food, seasonal vegetables. Masterpiece of Japan wine in a new era. Special cuvée of Romorantin to celebrate the birth of Etienne's son in 2015. Long ageing(over 3 years) after maceration. 2018 Sassaia is produced from 100% Garganega from the vineyards close to the winery, on Sorio hills, which soil is rich in minerals. The fermentation is spontaneous and it takes place in 30hl oak barrels, without temperature control. It was bottled without clarification and filtration. Part of the bottling process occurs without adding sulphur dioxide.

Nuragus, Semidano, Vernaccia 2018 L'Intrus(=intruder in English) Blanc is Viognier, grapes(certified biologic) from old vines were sourced from the vineyards located at high altitude of Southern Rhone valley. Maceration carbonic, fermented by wild yeast. No SO2 added during vinification and added minimal portion at the bottling. It has orange colour and cloudy at young stage. Very rich like nectar with lovely osmanthus aroma. Bigotes - Chardonnay from Puligny Montrachet area and near Volnay and Pommard. Age of vine is 55 years old. Frederic Cossard produces wine from only old vines. Fruits and minerals balanced at high level. A great natural wine classics. In 2018, two types of Bigotes are existing. Aged in barrel version and aged in Qvevris(amphora) version. This is a barrel ageing version.

Made only one barrel. The parcel is connected to Clos de la Garennes(It's not a Garennne from "La Garenne ou sur la Garenne" that belongs to Blagny). Sensationally rich, thick, gorgeous Puligny 1er Cru. It takes little more time to be integrated and reach the peak.
Cossard's home ground Saint Romain. Combe Bazin belongs to same geologic stratum with Puligny Montrachet. Fermentation goes on 4 months by wild yeast and aged in the barrel for 12 months and 2 months in stainless tank. Mineral, fruit and acid are well integrated. Les Quarterons has been produced since his fathers's generation. From the 30 years vieilles vignes on Argilo-Calcaire soil, fermented in stainless tank(3 months) and aged for 24months "Sur Lie". Very best of modern style Sancerre.

Some part of Chanterêves Bourgogne Chardonnay 2016 was bottled to magnums. Two-third of the cuvée comes from Marange. One-third is the Chardonnay from "Pierres Dorées", southern tip of Beaujolais close to Lyon which soil consists mainly of fossiliferous Bajocien limestone, comparable to the soil of Chassagne-Montrachet. Aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, mineral and good weight of body, roundness in mid palate with salinity in the finish. Pleasurable to drink after release but surprisingly good aging potential for a "simple" Bourgogne. Auksinis "Maceration" version. Perfectly ripe 100% Sauvignon blanc from over 50 years vieilles vignes on Argilo-Calcaire(Caillottes) soil. Contains 50% botrytis, yield : 20hl/ha. 36 months ageing "sur lie". No SO2 added, bottled without fining and filtration. Romorantin is a local grape in Cheverny - Loire valley. Courtois's Romorantin is thick, rich, complex and round. No sharpness, but hint of fresh herb makes wine lively. The wine is changing every moment in the glass. Extreme low yield(less than 30hl/ha), fermented by wild yeast, 40 months ageing, no racking, no fining.
