Bildstoeckle is one of the flagship of Gerard Schueller. We finally release 2016 Bildstoeckle Riesling now. It was too firm and closed in the beginning, so we have been waiting for the wine gets ready to drink. Amazing balance between fruits and mineral. Pure, solid and complex.

Pinot Gris Reserve is the most profound cuvee among a series of Gerard Schueller. It is not approachable in the early stage, but if we are patient, this wine is gold. This extremely rich and intense dry Alsace Pinot-Gris 2016 is in the second peak.

The Sonnenglanz vineyard faces southeast, at an altitude of 220 to 270 metres. it enjoys a very favourable microclimate with particularly low rainfall (hardly more than 500 mm per year).Heavy, well structured and very stony calcareous soil and its marvellous exposure give the wines an attractive gold colour of great intensity. on the nose, they have a fine, concentrated aroma of ripe fruit. they are generous on the palate, well balanced, with a long finish.

The "Ambre Orange" is made from Gewürztraminer with macération. 2021 possesses beautiful amber colour, fine concentration and ripe fruits with good acidity. This "new type" of wine has good capacity to cover wide range of cuisines.

The "Ambre Jaune" is made from Riesling with macération. Clear bright yellow colour, dry, fine concentration and ripe fruits with good acidity. This wine goes well with various type of Chinese cuisine.

The "Ambre Pinots" is made from the blend of Pinot-Noir and Pinot-Gris with macération. Lovely rosé colour, smooth, juicy fruits in dry style. At a glance, although it has very French atmosphere, it is not easy to identify its origin. However, that’s the point of it.

This cuvee "Riquewihr Gewürztraminer" 2020 shows perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. This full bodied, well structured wines are creamy and have a powerful spicy floral aroma. Excellent with foie gras (from Alsace), fairly spicy food or delicious apple desserts.

From 0.5ha granite soil, 30 years old Riesling. Only 2,500 bottles/year.
2021 vintage is dry and crispy, with floral lemony notes. With age, the mineral content is enhanced and the wine acquires a smooth sweet note. It goes remarkably well with slender fish, seafood and the delicious coq au Riesling.

The idea for this wine came from a simple observation, freely inspired by Mr. Jules Chauvet 1960: “Adding sulphites to the harvest is not advisable, knowing that both the yeast and intracellular fermentations give the best yield when there is no SO2″. Once the grapes are in the vat, Trapet uses no sulphur and the fermentations start naturally. Assembrage : Sylvaner, Pinot Auxerrois, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Riesling.

Renowned ever since the early Middle Ages, the wines of the Schoenenbourg were famous throughout northern Europe in the 16th century. The great Swiss cartographer, Merian, cited in 1663 "The Schoenenbourg, which produces the most noble wine of this country". Voltaire owned several vineyards here. Wines age particularly well, and in time develop powerful, rich aromas. Its microclimate makes it admirably suited to the production of prestigious VT and SGN.

Sporen wines are characterised by their finesse and class, richness allied to elegance. they age remarkably well. Deep soils protect against drought in years of low rainfall, allowing the vine roots to explore the soil and extract all the trace elements which contribute to the complexity of its wines.

Pinot Noir "LN012" version. Detection of extremely low SO2 gave the name to this cuvee(12ppm/l). His cuvees often have satirical name. Non-filtered and non-fining, so wine is cloudy and contains sediments and tartaric acid(normal for Schueller's wine).

Riesling H 2016 is made from selected parcel Hernla in Grand Cru Pfersigberg with small portion of Riesling from Fuchsloch.

Since the beginning, this Pinot-Gris Reserva 2014 has been unusually balanced and comfortable. (2012 and 2016 were heavy weight and too much powerful in the early stage). Dry, mineral, refreshing and complex.

Bildstoeckle is one of the flagship of Gerard Schueller as well as Pfersigberg GC and Eichberg GC. Usually Bildstoeckle Gewürztraminer has lychee and apple flavours with crispy acidity, but this 2016 is a bit different. Thick, much concentrated, powerful and rich. Another face of Bildstoeckle. No doubt 2016 will enjoy long life.

The wine from the vineyard of Grand Cru Pfersigberg. 2012 was released as Grand Cru, but 2013 and 2014 were not given name of "Grand Cru" by INAO due to its extreme uniqueness. Then Bruno Schueller released those vintages with "Le Verre est dans de Fruits" labels. One of the most iconic, famous classics of natural wine(although Bruno Schueller doesn't call his wine natural wine).
