Made from 100% Carignan. Southern French wines are often made by blending grapes with distinct personalities, such as Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Syrah. However, leave it to Frédéric Cossard, originally from Burgundy, to create an incredibly delicious wine with 100% Carignan! It's juicy, smooth, and you can even sense a delicate touch. It's such a vibrant wine. A perennial favorite rosé. Among our customers, it’s a classic choice to bring along to beach gatherings and boat parties. The color is pale, but it's so dense that you can feel the viscosity. It has a pleasant bitterness like pink grapefruit, and also a flavor like peach. The sweetness of ripe fruit, which becomes especially noticeable in the latter half, blends together into a feeling of bliss, like a tropical cocktail. In the South of France, the Cinsault grape variety is often used for rosé wine, but this is the only Cinsault we've ever had like this. The taste is perfectly expressed by this label. Like Carignan, the Mourvèdre grape variety is generally blended with other grape varieties to create balance, but Frédéric Cossard seems to be looking at something different. He used 100% of this unique grape variety to bring out the beauty of Mourvèdre that no one had noticed before. Although it has considerable concentration, its smooth, rounded texture and refined acidity make it a wonderfully lively and finely detailed wine.

In 2019, Claire Richaud had created the new cuvée based on the concept that how to keep freshness in the wine in hot and dry year. The key is "Counoise". In 2020, She increased the percentage of Counoise and succesfully made beautiful Bulbille in 2020 too. Cépages : Counoise 40%, Grenache 30%, and Cinsault 30%. The signature cuvée of Marcel Richaud is a masterpiece of natural wine from southern Rhone. Extremely concentrated, and possesses great depth and complexity. Ripe and smooth Mourvèdre gives vibrancy to the wine. This cuvée obviously has good ageing potential. Cépages : Mourvedre 20%, Grenache 40%, Syrah 20%, Counoise 10%, and Carignan 10%. Terroirs : Chantal, Les Garrigues, Les Combes, Les Partides, La Ridel, and Les Bayes. The signature cuvée of Marcel Richaud is a masterpiece of natural wine from southern Rhone. Mysterious balance between freshness and sweetness. Biologique, selection from young vines. Super excellent value. Cépages : Grenache 50%, Mourvedre 20%, Carignan 1o%, Cinsault 10% and Counoise 10%. Terroirs : Plantiers des Garrigues, and de la Grange. Traditional cuvée "Côtes du Rhône" made from the blend of different grapes from different terroirs. The soil is mixture of cray, limestone and pebbles. Pebbles(on the label) are typical in south and perform important role that keep the heat from the sun and radiate it to the vine. In order to this phenomenon, grapes gain high concentration and ripeness. The wine is rich, ripe, and full bodied. Grenache 25%, Syrah 20%, Carignan 20%, Counoise 20% and Mourvèdre 15%. Rich, dense, complex, and with clear edge. 20% of Counoise works well. In spite of such high concentration and 15.5% alcohol level, the wine is very comfortable and smooth. Cépages : Grenache 25%, Syrah 20%, Mourvedre 15%, Carignan 20% and Counoise 20%. Terroirs : La Combe d'Henry, Les Garrigues, Chantal, Les Partides, and Les Granges.
