This wine is made from grapes from the lieu-dit Voitte, located on the lower part of the slopes extending toward the 1er Cru Clavoillon in the center of the Puligny-Montrachet appellation. Depending on the vintage, the label may indicate the name Voitte, but in 2022, since a small amount of grapes from the 1er Cru La Garenne was blended in, the label simply states Puligny-Montrachet. The grapes were harvested early to preserve acidity, which proved effective, resulting in a wine with considerable volume that is well balanced without any heaviness or dullness. Indeed, both the red and white wines of 2022 are outstanding. The vinification and aging are carried out in egg-shaped concrete tanks introduced after the removal of wooden barrels, expressing pure fruit flavors and aromas. Ripe fruits(pear, passion fruits, lemon) with fine chalky mineral and acidity. No oak used. It's a pure taste of Chardonnay on the Puligny soil.
