Champs Longs is one of the most reputed sites among the Chorey red wine vineyards. Its alluvial soil mixed with limestone rock allows it to have both good water retention and drainage. The farming is quite similar to what we practice in Savigny Dessous de Montchenevoy. Now in the third year since acquiring the vineyard, we feel the results of our careful vineyard practices are becoming apparent. The wine has gained multi-layered depth, complexity, and scale, with an added touch of elegance.
The wine has a fairly intense, slightly spicy nose with red fruit. The mouth is full and silky, the tannins are delicate, and the red-fruited notes make for an elegant wine.(by Chanterêves)

“Champs Longs” is one of the most celebrated lieu-dits for Pinot Noir in Chorey. Alluvial soil mixed with limestone gravel gives an excellent balance between water retention and water drainage. Fresh and fruity with carbonic notes. Round tannins accompanied with nice acidity. Joyful yet delicate.(by Chanterêves)
