Ladoix 2022

Chanterêves Ladoix usually has a drifting, ethereal character (yet easy going), but the 2022 vintage seems to strongly reflect the character of the neighboring Corton, possessing a robust structure. It might have been reasonable to wait about four to five years before releasing it, but since some customers may want to know its current state, we decided to release it now. This Ladoix 2022 will surely reveal the wonderful qualities that develop in Burgundy wine after it has aged for several years.

Ladoix

The lieu-dit “Les Joyeuses” is adjacent to the 1er Cru of the same name in Ladoix. Shallow topsoil, with solid and hard limestone bedrock beneath. The vigor is compromised and so it naturally makes for a concentrated wine. Beautiful poached red fruit. Palate: Perfumed, spicy. Dense and complex, yet fresh. No matter the vintage, this Ladoix delivers. (by Chanterêves)
